# Update It's been a productive couple weeks. Got some more work done on my next cert and masters. Nothing exciting there. I've been diving into Autodesk Fusion finally for a couple projects. The first is to make a more condensed box for an indie board game I enjoy. Problem is the game came in a box far larger than all the standard sizes of board game boxes, making it tough to lug around at conventions and game stores. And to make it worse, there are 6 expansions I'm trying to squeeze in. It's proving to be quite a challenge, but if I can at least condense it down a bit, I'll be happy. The other project I've started using Fusion for is a couples cosplay with my girlfriend: Frieren & a mimic. I'm obviously the mimic, and since it's more of a prop than a costume, I'm designing most of it in Fusion. We're hoping to make it large enough to fit my entire body when folded up with enough space for my girlfriend to swap parts of her wig for the frizzy ends (if you've seen the show, you'd know). I've got other ideas I'd love to design for it, but we'll see if there will be enough time to complete all of it. I completed another race a week and a half ago, which was fun. I don't usually do local races since they're an excuse for me to travel, but that will probably change a bit, at least for this year. After the race, I immediately hopped in a keto diet for the first time. I keep hearing positive things from people I trust, so I wanted to give it a shot. I originally set a goal of losing 5 lbs, but I had to increase the goal a bit since I'm already 7 lbs down, though a lot of that is just water weight from the diet transition. I'm only planning to be on keto for 3 weeks leading up to another half marathon, which means I'm about halfway done at this point. I'll have a deeper dive into this in a later post. Other than that, I've knocked out a lot of tasks but nothing significant to share. I haven't made as much time for fiction writing as I'd like, so I'll be sure to work that in more in the next week or two. # Interesting Articles/Write-ups I Came Across - https://dev.to/veritaschain/building-tamper-proof-media-apps-c2pa-vs-cpp-deep-dive-for-developers-52g4 - https://thecontractor.io/synology-dsm-7-3-2/ - https://krebsonsecurity.com/2026/01/who-operates-the-badbox-2-0-botnet/ - https://grahamhelton.com/blog/nodes-proxy-rce - https://unit42.paloaltonetworks.com/dilemma-of-ai-malicious-llms/ - https://dlt.github.io/blog/posts/introduction-to-postgresql-indexes/ - https://www.unix.dog/~yosh/blog/c-habits-for-me.html - https://openai.com/index/unrolling-the-codex-agent-loop/ - https://v-chandra.github.io/on-device-llms/ - https://labs.watchtowr.com/someone-knows-bash-far-too-well-and-we-love-it-ivanti-epmm-pre-auth-rces-cve-2026-1281-cve-2026-1340/ - https://simonwillison.net/2026/Jan/26/chatgpt-containers/#atom-everything?utm_source=tldrai - https://www.bloomberg.com/news/newsletters/2026-01-25/inside-apple-s-ai-shake-up-ai-safari-and-plans-for-new-siri-in-ios-26-4-ios-27-mktqy7xb # Topics Reviewed - Networking hub (41 notes) - Neuroscience hub (7 notes) - Biology hub (16 notes) - Misc notes (8 notes)
