# Update It's times like these where I feel like John Henry the steel driver vs the steam-powered drilling machine; I'm racing against AI-powered output which I will inevitably lose. I don't want to become the "old man yelling at clouds" meme for refusing to use new technology, but I also don't want to use a tool purely for the hype. AI is here to stay, and it *is* good at certain tasks. But we can't pretend it's good at everything it touches. Rant aside, I like to learn, and if that means some of my tasks and projects take longer to do because I want to do them and learn how they work instead of relying on AI to do them, so be it. I made some updates to this website this week, made it a little prettier at least in my eyes. Frontend stuff, especially relating to aesthetics, is foreign to me so it took a bit longer than I would have liked. My old Pixel 3a and Pixel 6 phones finally got the repairs they desperately needed. Turns out, that process moves a lot faster when the screens are already cracked and don't require any precautions. My quest to finish all the Cosmere books this year progressed a little more after finishing Oathbringer. I'm taking a slight break from Stormlight Archive to hop back onto Scadrial with Mistborn. I also started a new cert this week but haven't done much yet. Only completed the first few modules and set up a new VM for the labs. # Interesting Articles/Write-ups I Came Across - https://research.eye.security/how-we-rooted-copilot/ - https://slcyber.io/assetnote-security-research-center/novel-ssrf-technique-involving-http-redirect-loops/ - https://xbz0n.sh/blog/mythic-c2-early-bird-defender-evasion
